The system generates message KT312 (Background processing incomplete; display only) in controlling area maintenance.
Message KT346 (Job still running; display only) is generated in version maintenance.
In both cases it is not possible for you to make changes.

Solution

You can cancel the lock indicator manually by entering "=KILL" in the command field. However, you should only do this if the job terminated and could not cancel the lock indicator itself.
