Goal

Trying to add a 2 TB disk to an ASM diskgroup

Solution

In 11.2 a check was made to disallow creation of diskgroups with disks of size > 2tb.

This should not apply to EXADATA machines.
EXADATA can install patch 7553876 to allow this size disk.
