FORM.:WSHFSTRX.FMB - Shipping Transactions Form

Symptoms

In the Shipping Transactions form. (WSHFSTRX), for every booked order, there is an exception: WSH_INVALID_TPDATES: 'Latest Dates are lesser than Earliest Dates'. It is possible to proceed through shipping and ignore this message.

Cause

When Oracle Transportation Execution is installed, the following three profiles are used to calculate the earliest/latest , ship/deliver dates . This has been know to be the cause of the error.

OM: Source for TP Early Ship Date
OM: Sequence for TP Ship/Deliver Deadline
FTE: Late Ship Offset Days

Based on these profile values the delivery line's earliest ship date is calculated and the Exception can be generated
If you are not using the Transportation module, the Exception WSH_INVALID_TPDATES has no meaning.

Solution

If the Transportation module is not used, the Exception WSH_INVALID_TPDATES message can be disabled:

1. Navigate to Shipping / Setup/ Define Exceptions .
2. Query the Exception WSH_INVALID_TPDATES.
3. Uncheck the Enable box.
