- OBIEE 11.1.1.7 on 64-bit win 2008 R2
- Installing OBIEE 11.1.1.7 on a PC where 11.1.1.7 RCU was running fine.
- During install and configuration (enterprise install option), you receive Error
"adrci.exe has stopped working"
but the installation continued and was completed successfully.
- After the installation was completed, every time starting BI services, the same error raises for a few times.
Installing OBIEE 11.1.1.7
adrci.exe in the ...\wlserver_10.3\server\adr is not correct
- take a backup copy of adrci.exe found in ...\wlserver_10.3\server\adr
- Take the the adrci.exe included in the 11.1.1.7 RCU directory
- replace the adrci.exe from ...\wlserver_10.3\server\adr
This will resolve the issue.
