SYMPTOMS
Installation of 12.1.0.2 Oracle Database Server/Client on RHEL 7/OL7 reports "compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3 (x86_64)" package missing during pre-requisite check.
CAUSE
The package "compat-libstdc++-33" is not available in the rpm repository for RHEL7 .
This is identified as BUG 21151912
SOLUTION
compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3 is still required due to bug 22477834.
Install the compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3 and Proceed with the Database Installation.
